WELL KNOWN VOICE HEARERS is a resource by the Psychosis Research Unit team which offers personal accounts of several famous people who have had experiences of hearing voices or have chosen to speak out about their mental health difficulties.
Understanding that even public figures are perhaps going through similar experiences may help break down stigma and inspire others to speak someone at a time that is right for them.
The leaflet also highlights how common mental health problems are in society by comparing the figures to famous landmarks and places.
